ABOUT ACEC
The Annual Civic Education Conference (ACEC) is an international conference held annually by the Indonesia Association of Pancasila and Civic Education Profession (IAPCEP/AP3KnI) in collaboration with partner universities. Following its successful at Universitas Negeri Padang in 2025, Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta has been honored to serve as the host institution for the 2026 conference.
The theme of ACEC 2026 has been selected in response to the growing complexity of global challenges related to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Human Rights. Civic Education plays a crucial role in preparing global citizens who are competent, ethical, and socially responsible, particularly in addressing issues of sustainability and social justice.
